MINYAN SHIRAT HA'AGAM

Minyan Shirat Ha'Agam

Welcome to Minyan Shirat Ha'Agam (Song of the Lake, a nod to our proximity to Lake Michigan)

We are a traditional egalitarian minyan that meets on the first Shabbat morning of every month

Services are held at the Northwestern University Hillel located at 629 Foster St, Evanston, Illinois

Davening begins with opening prayers (Pesukei d'Zimra) at 9:45 am, followed by Shacharit, a Torah Service, a participatory D'var Torah and concluding Musaf Services.  We daven using Lev Shalem siddurim (Conservative Movement) with copies available to all participants.

A Kosher Kiddush follows services for all congregants, at approximately 12:15 pm

All services, including the D'var Torah, are lay led, supported by a vibrant congregant community.

We welcome all newcomers, of all ages.

Advance notice of attendance is not required.
